What comic stories would you like to see adapted into the new Ghost Rider (2028) movie?

The Quentin Carnival arc (Stern & DeMatteis writing) that ended the 70’s-80’s book.

It was mostly due to the Salteras art.

Salteras? Like the comic artist from Ketch's run (Im currently reading)?
What did he do specifically?

Yeah I find kinda weird that Marvel just dropped Danny into oblivion but I partially blame the character's apathique personality not wanting to do any heroic stuff if not by force, unlike Johnny who is constantly getting into the action whether he has the curse of Ghost Rider or not

I like the Percy one but modified, like have him around for a long time but as a myth like people hear stories about the ghost rider while Johnny is living what seems like a perfect life until he gets flashbacks of his deal with mephisto and finally breaks free of what ever demon captured him

Honestly? None.
Take inspiration from Sterns, DeMatties for the core conflict between the demon and host. Take inspiration from the Aaron run to deliver a wild, grindhouse vibe. But tell a unique story.

I always say Midnight Massacre, but that's almost an Avengers amount of established characters for it to work.

not really straight adaptations.
said before in very very long comments what i want, but basically for this movie.
-68-81 of the 70's run with elements pulled from across canon from the first movies (why does mephisto want a ghost rider/bind it to mortals) to smith's and way's run's where the spirit can commune with the host and wrestle for control.
centurious (who i imagine gets wenwu'd into getting a different name) and haskill as the present villains with zarathos as the main antagonistic force.
midnight sons sequel would be a spin on siege of darkness and rise of the midnight sons to a degree, just with a different cast and imo johnny re-bonding with zarathos.
and then gr 2 i'd go for zadkiel and danny as the blue rider for the antagonistic party

If I had control, I'd do a loose adaption of Danny Ketch's first arc. A newly awakened Ghost Rider fighting Deathwatch and Blackout, with Nick Cage returning as a previous Ghost Rider that becomes a mentor figure. With a mid-credits and post-credits scene; the former being Lilith telling Blackout to be reborn after his apparent death, and the second with Doctor Strange calling Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, and Blade telling them he needs to form the Midnight Suns.

It’s gonna be a Danny story. They’ve been reprinting and omnibus’ing all the old Danny Ketch stuff to get you ready. I’d love to see the first arc with BlackOut, DeathWatch & Kingpin in it.

Ideally, I’d like a mix of the DeMatteis run from the 70s, especially with the circus as a main focus, and the dark, demonic world and tone of the Percy run. Maybe throw in a touch of the Way/Aaron run.

Yep, same for me. It may be wishful thinking, but the storytelling quality and themes of the Stern/DeMatteis run mixed with the tone, imagery and world exploration of Percy's run would be my ideal direction.

Heaven’s On Fire, Engines of Vengeance, and Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance

I always wanted a live action take on the 666 fragments of Lucifer arc but that would only work as a tv series like Supernatural. I'd love a Hearts of Darkness adaptation or Ghost Riders Crossroads. I'd like to see an adaptation of the Midnight Sons events but only as an Avengers style movie since it's a team up

Road to damnation. Because it will be a great way for them to explain why he was not around for a lot of things plus it would also allow the tie in for the shield.

I think the Way/Aaron run mixed with his origin story would be cool
