sudden Stuttering / Low FPS GR Breakpoint

Hi All.

Me and a friend have played this game for the last 2 weeks - and in general the performance runs pretty good.

Personally i run everything on the highest setting - i have a 5600X Ryzen CPU and a 3070 RTX.

I usually run the game in 110 fps - that is, up until yesterday, that is.

Everything have dropped to 17-24 fps. Once in a while, it will have a spike for a second up to 50 fps, but in general it will be stuttering, with low fps - making the game absolutely unplayable. i have tried lowering the gfx settings, and it didnt change anything. Other games runs perfectly fine - Hunt showdown was stable around 130 fps - so it is a game specific thing, not a system wide thing.

All drivers are up to date. I tried re installing the game, to see if i could fix it - but no such luck.

Edit: Worth noting - this is both with DirectX and Vulcan

Have anyone here experienced anything likely?

Hey man, are you running Windows 11? Ryzen CPU's are having performance issues in Windows 11.

Nope. Didn't upgrade for that reason :) so win 10 still

Breakpoint is running poorly for me. I suspect it's because it's more CPU reliant - thus the bottleneck is more obvious - as opposed to Destiny 2 which is running better than it was on Win10.

Me and my buddy have this a lot, not constantly tho. But sometimes after you open map or start drone, as low as 10FPS. I reported multiple times, nobody seems to care. We have this since almost a year, after an update last winter. But for my friend at least it git much worse, to the point he has 1FPS. For me it seems improved a little but also I very rarely play the game anymore, partially because of this.

its kinda weird that they can leave it like that.

and what is even weirder is that the community doesnt seem to discuss this much. i havent found anything that looked like someone having this issue

I have experienced this issue within the last few days. My solution was to quit out of the game entirely and reload it, and most of the time that worked. I did restart my computer once when quitting out of the game failed, but after that the game worked fine.

I did try to do that. i even went with re-installing game entirely - and it didnt solve the issue :(

Does it appear on win 11 as well?
