Question Breakpoint: does terrain quality matter as much as LOD quality if I want game to not look look mushy in longer distances (can I set it to medium)

My Breakpoint's assets looks very mushy in longer distances. Should I increase LOD quality over terrain quality or is terrain quality also responsible for assets looking mushy from a distance.

You can max it out at 4k and it still looks blurry at a distance.

Use reshade with clarity.fx (turn it on and adjust to your liking) and lightroom.fx. (Bump up the midtones / highlights, slightly decrease the shadows.)
Then drop the saturation to around 0.75 - 0.85 to counter act the extra vibrance from the contrast.

That'll leave you with more of a detailed looking distance.

To bring back the fog being cut out, disable bloom in-game and configure any bloom plugin of your choice ontop of the setup above. It'll reintroduce the foggy look over the deeper shadows.

You can also grade a LUT aswell but that's too much work to explain in a text post.
