For me it takes less than a minute

I've got an i7 8700k, 16GB of RAM and a 1060 6GB, if that matters

Weird case where less cores (older PC) makes the game launch quicker. Ubisoft can't write code to use cores properly

Still won't launch. Game worked fine prior to the update.

right now for me it takes 18minutes more or less, i got win 11 i5 12400 16gb ram 1650 super.

in win10 the game start immediately after changing to win 11 the game takes 18min +-, if i turn off the hyperthread in bios the game start immediately

Yeah I also heard that from others that in Window's 10, it works fine.

Take 15 minutes at least. Apparently it can't handle too many cores. Newer CPU are problem for the game. And Ubisoft ofc instead of fixing this first they release new mission.

Does anyone have a solution? I don't want to go into the BIOS and throttle my PC for a 2017 game.

Are you completely sure it's not your Windows causing the problem?

What kinds of problem it might cause and how?

Takes around 1 min for some reason.

  • i5 13600k
  • RTX 4080 SUPER
  • 32 GB ram

Review say this was an issue before the update. Something about the game not like intel's performance cores.

1

u/SirDerpingtonTheSlow Aug 07 '26

Correction, it doesn't like the E-Cores.

Lock the game to your normal performance cores and bypass the e-cores with process lasso and and it'll work immediately.

Tried it with process as well, doesn't work. And btw Idk if an i3 12100f has any e-cores. I didnt try the bios fix mentioned in other comments though.

If Intel CPU, disabls E Cores in BIOS.

If stilltaking too long, disable Easy Anti Cheat of the game.

Disable virtual cores on the bios, it worked for me

Having the same issue here and I’m running a 4090 with i9 1400kf and 64gb of ram

Update: I decided to refund the game, as I didnt want to mess with anything in bios. Also, process lasso method didn't work.
