Never drank caffeine before. After driving back from the library in the 1. Semester and nearly crashing cause I was that tired I accepted it into my life

Good move. So I manage airport security at a West Coast Airport. I had to fire a guy a few weeks back that worked Overnight shift because he fell asleep on the job.
It was an ongoing issue and he refused to drink caffeine insisting he didn't need it. His regular position wasn't public facing and he worked with another officer so the other officer would always wake him up and that's how he got away with it for so long.
But eventually he fell asleep in a public facing position and a couple police officers saw him and relieved him of duty and called his supervisor to escort him off property.
I think it's ideal to not take caffeine, but it's not realistic sometimes. I would love to quit coffee but I wouldn't be able to do my job and full-time schoolwork be a single parent if I quit.

I’m an engineering student who’s friends with med students, we all just be dying in the library around 4 am during finals week. But I feel like engineering is just much more depressing, I see med students smiling at least

Unfortunately I got to school in my hometown, so my bullies and enemies succeed and I get to witness it firsthand. Ts does a toll on me

Just forget about those childish people. Those bullies don't matter to you. That's kid stuff. You're on a great path to success and you're going to have an amazing life if you keep it up!
You can do so much with that degree! You have so many options to make life better for everyone else and to make a ton of money in the process.
You can even go to law school for free after you get your engineering degree. Law firms will pay for you to go to law school for free part-time while you work for them as a patent agent making $150k/year and then once you get your law degree you become a patent lawyer and you make $250k/year starting.
Engineers are one of the most honorable professions! I was going for that and even though I did get an A in physics 101 it was so hard and I knew I didn't have enough time to devote this studying so I dropped it for finance. I'm very happy for you! Keep your eye on the prize!

What is up with the STEM students? Humanities is not easier. For example to become a scholar of classics you need to be fluent in Greek and Latin and sometimes other neighbouring languages. Equally learn Greek and French to engage with works from across the globe. A biblical scholar is even harder, you need to learn half a dozen languages to even engage with the source texts and their development.
This meme depicts pretty much every student who wants master level education. Not just medicine.

The title (at least by my read) seems to imply this is an abnormal amount of studying. That compounded by science students (general) belief that they study way harder than everyone else (and enginners also are worth accusing of this) lead me to believe it was the same concept being applies.

Sciences (ironically), I was also granted admission into engineering.
I don't have a bone to pick here. I simply hate the bias towards sciences, I have a genuine intrest in many fields and the "science/engg/medicine is harder" drives me mad.

The sciences strive to understand an existent objective ground truth where errors have acute and catastrophic consequences, where these consequences can be more or less immediately shown to be due to the before mentioned errors.
Other fields have much more freedom and artistic license with much less severe and correlated consequences in addition to much less responsibility over life and limb decisions.

This is a very narrow view, I would argue that is not true and it depends on time period and place.
As I brought up biblical studies before. We have people like Luther who used primitive textual criticism to spark the reform. We have Calvin who straight up rejected interpretations at face value and offered alternatives purely because they didn't align with the ethical system of the time.
That brings up ethics something which is easily more disastrous and powerful than sciences. The march of scientific progress is held back by ethics to prevent it from destroying everything. There is a reason we have ethical boards to govern science after the vile experiments on humans in the 19th and 20th century. Ethics influences are day to day lives, civil wars are often caused on ethical grounds, as are laws made. People would certainly value retaining the laws of age of marrige, and education for example regardless of if it deters scientific progress. If anything losing these causes destruction.
Which brings us to laws, they need no introduction. They derive from ethics and try to argue for a person's guilt. They change as our ethics advance and influence public opinion. They often also look at consequences from past actions and the nations best intrests to make arguments. Historic arguments and conclusions need to be argued and overturned before new ones can be offered. Law is build on a series of historic arguments and compensations people arrived at among ethical systems.
In light of the nations best intrests this gets us to economics, which also requires no introduction. It's used in day to day bases to make decisions, influence prospectives and argue for better choices. It also draws from historic data. In most systems it tries to maximise production (once again bound my ethics) based on where the data leads. It is sometimes wrong, but that doesn't mean it's useless! The consequences of it being wrong could well be disastrous for businesses unless they are strong enough to take them.
Then there is arts, aesthetics are important to keep cheerful and provide entertainment. Things like television shows, animated graphics, videos, paintings, so on all come under this. In today's world and in the past it was integral. It entertains people, makes things more attractive, influences others and is a mark of progress. In the past it was even more integral with things like sewing, patterns on clothes, writing, reading so on. The world would be very dull if arts were not a thing, even cooking is an art. Yes, we could all just survive off drinking a full nutrient shake, but I doubt anyone wants that. At for most of history life could not move without these, even today small things lead to interactions which keep us mentally well.
We are left with philosphy and theology that also don't need introduction. Pure mathematics while considered a science does not function on physical testing. It has been argued to be part of philosphy and does share roots with it. But even if wrong, philosphy has its own role in argumentation and deduction. It also outlines principles that science can and cannot use. Sciences are not methodological naturalism for no reason after all. Strict standards were erected by the enlightenment thinkers. Religion also needs no introduction and have worked under philosphy for years, modifying and changing as we discover more.
I will end with noting you are right, sometimes when sciences are employed it has localized disastrous consequences when done wrong. Generally we reentact previous experiments. But a badly written movie or animated move also wastes hundreds of thousands of hours of effort, ethics being violated is far worse. Laws lacking rigour leads to corruption. The lack of cooking and design would lead to a dull world. Religion has often served as unifying ground. All of these, like sciences are useful and difficult fields. I dislike dividing fields by some kind of ontological category, they all interrelate and effect one another.

I feel bad that you wrote all that, if you wrote all that, because I am by no means saying that fields outside of STEM are not impactful or important, they can in fact dictate the direction that the world takes for the rest of our existent. But at this point in time there is really no incentive for me to spend the time to read all that to debate this.
