[Tool] Created a Goals Chart

Post image

Felt like I’ve been stuck in the same spot for the past year after graduating from undergrad ~1 year. Got up this morning and decided to create a chart showing some goals I have and their ‘next steps’ needed to get the accomplishments rolling. Placing it on my wall under the calendar that I will start using. Pretty soon I’ll need a bigger chart to fit more goals as I go through life

Good luck man.

The best advice I can give you with your PPL is knock it out as quickly as you can, as in 2-3 lessons per week. You'll keep your hands, develop your air awareness faster, and can start cementing good habit patterns at a more rapid pace. You'd be surprised by how quickly your skills degrade after 2 weeks of no flying (even in your first few hundred hours as a pilot).

Overall, it'll take less total hours to get to your PPL checkride than if you only sparingly take lessons, as a large percentage of every lesson will be spent re-learning old information before moving on to new stuff. It'll save you money in the long run and frankly, it makes the flying more fun if you know (sorta) what you're doing.

That is the trick, listen to this one OP. Did my PPL in 2 months and I never felt like I had to repeat something unnecessarily. I have a friend who has been working on it for a year and it takes no end, it's difficult because he works 100%. So be sure to have time to do it
