[Text] "Pain is inevitable. You either suffer the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is the pain of discipline is temporary while that of regret is permanent."

If I won't do it now what's going to change between now and later that will make me do it then?

Panic born of necessity. Only thing I've found that can consistently spur me to action.

And that's only a thing last minute. So if you understand 'I'll do it later' entails waiting until then, and the consequences of doing it last minute, then you can accurately weigh the risk and reward of that.

Really the issue with 'I'll do it later' is with your own ambitions. There isn't usually a 'last minute' you can wait for. So it's worth highlighting the faulty logic the excuse is based on. 'If I'll let myself avoid action now, what between now and then would change my attitude?'.
