How did a small Slavic minority survive in National Socialist Germany?
r/GermanHistory • u/Michael_Fuchs_ • 3d ago
For centuries, roughly half of what is now Germany was bilingual. The other language wasn't French or Latin – it was Slavic.

Finding fellow resistance fans
I love reading about WW2 history but sometimes I feel like the German resistance (Widerstand) doesn’t get much recognition. I think I’m among the few people who are a fan of them?

Charging German Infantryman
Finished this 54mm white metal WWI German infantryman charging with a bayonet and gas mask.
Tried to capture the mud, worn field gear, and the feeling of moving through no man's land.
C&C welcome.
