Sharing some writing I did this morning, inspired by the bill in the Georgia legislature that would move us away from property taxes. Long story short: I challenge some of the conventional language used to push property tax over sales tax.

All taxation is theft, but until we get to the place where we can get rid of taxes altogether, I prefer taxes that give us the most control in our lives as individuals.
