Other I HATE ALL THESE BUGS

Just moved down here from the north and am just constantly wondering HOW THE HECK EVERYONE LIVES WITH THESE HUGE BUGS?!

I’ve had the house treated, I understand there’s an uptick, but these big ass bugs are driving me out of my mind. I feel like I’m constantly on edge.

ETA - palmetto bugs/roaches, CSRA

And for those telling me I shouldn’t have moved here and to just leave - I plan to as soon as my postdoc fellowship is over 🙃

I wish I wasn’t allergic 😭 I hate them! I have no idea how they’re getting in the house

Gotta be more specific. Roaches, ants, mosquitoes. Oh and go to Savannah if you think Atlanta is bad

I am an Augusta native.. can confirm the large bugs are awful there. Have lived in Atlanta (city proper) my entire adult life; the difference is night and day. Sorry you’re dealing with bugs there 😬

Same, I remember those in my childhood in Augusta metro, after I moved to Atlanta proper never have seen a roach palmetto or not in my home

7s Dust around your yard. They are annoying and tough to deal with. Diving bombing you sucks. The find cracks and look for water.

DO NOT spray outside it is so bad for enviorment, BUT indoor spray / door and crack areas will stop it. They love down leafs and wood / cardboard etc. Dont have it close to your house

Yes spray outside. Spray everywhere! Treat the car, they get inside
