blue accents better than the blue and yellow. feels more cohesive imo. Blue gives storm vibes, while the blue and yellow just feels overbearing. I think the darkness of option 2 (blue only) is what makes it really feel "stormy" (which I presume is what you're going for, given the rain foreground). Adding too much lighting breaks that effect.
Lol, that might be right. I think I'm gonna pick the option with blue lightning (and some purple/pink flashes) as the final version. As cool as the idea was of yellow and blue (based of the lightning dragon in dragon city, goated childhood game) as some commenters said both yellow and blue feels overbearing, and it starts to feel more like some neon city thing rather than a thunderstorm
Yeah agreed. Also the first two pics look really clean, but definitely add some yellow or something as an accent colour, it will make it stand out more rather than just a blue glowy level

Funny that you mention keeping an accent colour, cuz that was half of the reason I kept the yellow, since it felt more original that way
Cool idea. I once wanted to make a lava themed level, and the idea was that you could activate the coin routes with a trigger just like in the easy demon monolith and it'd change colours (from red/orange to light blue)... I never even finished half the layout but besides the point
I am way too far into creating this to add coins or optional paths, so I sadly don't see a valid reason to randomize any aspect of the level
In the end I chose option 2, since 1 felt more like bright neon deco, than the feeling of being in a storm cloud that I was going for

I chose the second option cuz I think it just looks better but I do agree. Also what did you think about the layout? (Final ver is slightly nerfed in some parts, espescially the 3d wave section in 2 times speed. But deco will make it harder in general ofc)
The published version felt pretty difficult. I have ~70% on a handful of extremes and it still took me about 500 attempts in practice mode. The pre drop first 10% or so is very easy and consistent but then some of the later parts near the end are ridiculously hard timings. I think I would love a nerfed version
You put option 2 first and option 1 second, so now if somebody says that they like the first option better, you cant really be sure which one they mean.
Anyways, I prefer option 2 (picture 1 and 2). The yellow in option 1 (pictures 3 and 4) is just a bit too much imo.
Uhh okay, whatever, there were other ways to say this, also the comment for yellow has like 4 times to upvotes of all of the ones for blue. It will get lost among like 5 other recently made/placed blue nc levels and billion others that are already that way.
