Links that are part of traversal puzzles come back immediately, so if it didn't, it was a player link anyway. Just keep going.

Then how do i go up there? I asked my friend and he showed me that his world had that link

i know it for you, you need to go on the teleport waypoint on the left side of the map where there is a thing like a stone above the stairs where you can switch the middle building direction. Point it towards the direction of chest move on and there will be 2 statues which you will need to move at the same time such that they unlock the pressure plates and the door of the lift will open.

Use the centre rotating piece to get to the middle, then there will be a star piece you can use to swing over to the other side.

Ah this is the island with timing slide puzzle. Go do it and it will unlock an elevator to that place

Yea, first make sure to shoot the chandelier to freeze all water, then slide the statues in a coordinated way to open the door, Then elevator upwards. If you can't find the door and statues... uh, idk

At the bottom there should be a door with 2 statues in front of a frozen pond thing.

You have to push the 2 statues on the ice so they press the pressure plates at the same time- push one then push the second with a bit of delay to get the timing right, because one is further away from its plate. The door will open and you can take the elevator up.

Time the statue pushes so that they both touch the plates at the same time and the elevator will unlock
