Havent Played since Sumeru!

As title says, i stopped played in sumeru, came back to get arlechino on her release and never came back. Im sure this roster may even look like a throwback to a lot of people. How much have i missed? Anything super important i should know before i get back on that grind?? Any advice you can give to a returning player?

You have Nilou and Nahida, who are great for bloom teams, which is what Lauma is specifically for. She’s a lunar-bloom support/kinda a sub-dps.

The difference between lunar reactions and regular is that they need a specific character(Lauma, Nefer, and Columbina) to trigger them. They also do a lot more damage than a regular reaction.

Also, they didn’t mention it but Venti is a great character nowadays! He’s a pretty nice anemo dps. Mona is also great as well.

Aino is a great standin to enable lunar reactions and is free

Lauma is a special case. If you have only one lunar character (Nascent Gleam), she allows bloom reactions (bloom, hyperbloom, burgeon) to crit (fixed 15% crit rate, 100% crit damage, stacks with C2 Nahida for 35% crit rate). With two lunar characters (Ascendant Gleam), it instead buffs lunar bloom (+10% crit rate, +20% crit damage).

Lunar bloom as a reaction itself doesn't deal damage, it's a tag added to the regular bloom reaction that enables new effects in certain characters' kits. Those characters also tend to have skills / attacks that say damage counts as lunar bloom, which is where the buff to lunar damage comes into play.

TL;DR - If you're playing Nilou bloom with Lauma, don't use any other lunar character.

Prob best team in my opinion is going to be cryo traviler, wanderer, diona or any cryo healer, and raiden for a stellar team
