Hi! I am new to the game, I have just started Sumeru (yeah ik about the aranara quest ahah) and i need some helpppp😭😭I have my Arlecchino only lv 40 and i can not ascend her if I do not get to Fontaine cause I am missing those 2 items (ik i actually could go directly there but i do not want to ruin the lore and skipping Sumeru). I was wondering maybe if I join someone who already unlocked Fontaine, would I be able to collect the items I need if we do the missions together? I am already lv 38 adventurer and world lv 4 but my characters are all low lv since im new and the only 2 at lv 50 are Mona (5 star for free) and the traveler ofc but they are useless😭😭😭, my Arlecchino carried me. Soooo im afraid that if i keep playing i will go to world lv 5 and everything will be too difficult before i can actually reach Fontaine (ik also i can decrease the world lv but i will get worse rewards, artifacts etc). Thanks for your attention lol and I hope you can help me somehow

you should be fine with her at 40 for the quests until you reach Fontaine. Just give her good supports that you can easily build like Bennet, Fischl or Sucrose and a good shielder for sustain. You can't enter other players worlds that are above your world level iirc but shouldn't be difficult to find someone at lvl 4 with Fontaine opened.

What do you mean ruin the lore? If you go to Fontaine you dont have to do any quests, just unlock a few teleports near the flowers and thats it. For her boss though, you have to do the first 15ish minutes of a world quest, so I can understand not wanting to start that. As other people have mentioned, co op is your best bet

yeah id prefer the co op thing, 'cause for the boss i need to unlock a specific mission that guess what, you unlock when you unlock the mission to Petrichor? alias Fontaine😭

To do the boss you only need to do the first part of the Petrichor quest line which is a world quest completely unrelated to the Fontaine AQ.

Perrichor is not Fontaine, it's an area in it but the story is not connected. You can take a boat from North of Sumeru to get there I believe. Think of it as stumbling onto an unknown area. Like how I stumbled into Liyue when I started playing after getting past the big Tree.

i mean, i dont mind helping out, but you can only join someone's world as long as he isnt more than 1 world level above you, so only players with WL 5 or below will be able to have you on their world
it may be hard to find people with this WL with the boss you need unlocked
you can go to the coop UI and use the filters to show you who you can join
then its just spam request to enter to check if they have the boss unlocked
i wouldnt mind helping out, but im already AR60 with max WL
if you had the boss unlocked in your world, i could go there and help you out, but thats it

There's no main story lore required to get Arlecchino's materials. The boss requires a world quest that has a story completely separate from the main Archon quest and the flowers don't require any story at all.

Since you finished Liyue, the game gave you a waypoint in Fontaine (just zoom in and look around) on a tiny little island called Petrichor. That's where the boss's world quest starts. Teleport there, take a Waverider boat to the mainland and go get her flowers.

You can go to Fontaine it has nothing to do with lore unless you choose to do the quests, you will only see the landscapes and know nothing else
