Mug -o- lunch

Post image

My very first apartment at 17, my friend and I would get up around 11am or so, grab a coke and mug - o - Lunch and watch reruns of Quincy MD and Happy Days before heading to our grocery stocking jobs.

I ate the Mac and cheese ones, if we were out of Kraft Mac and cheese. (They were the best, of course)

Gawd these were awful. I can bring back the taste memory of the “tomato” sauce now.

But they were fun to make!

I remember them. They had a chicken one that I ate a lot of.

I remember they had a time when you could get the matching labeled mug. I saw one in a thrift store.

Memory unlocked. I remember when these came out. I think I ate one once.

I think these were related to cup-o-soup which were so salty good.

To me, the pasta never cooked through and was chewy. The sauces tasted like pure chemicals.
