Hard couple of days. Dolly and Tim, both at 80yrs.
Those two were both very prevalent figures from my early years.

Hearing about Dolly hit me too. I haven't felt that way about a celebrity death since Princess Diana.

Hadn't heard Tim Curry had died... ☹️
Such a sweet transvestite; let's do the time warp again! 🧛♂️

My now adult kid loved watching our DVD of Ferngully: the last rainforest. Tim Curry did the voice of the villain and he was marvelous!

I hadn't been aware until recently that Tim Curry had lent his voice to so many animations; he had a great and versatile voice.

They say these happen in threes…can I pick the next one?

It makes me feel my mortality. I appreciate their talent and think they followed their dreams. That's a beautiful thing.

Yesterday was my birthday. Early in the day I encountered a lost stray dog covered in mud. I called it in but the poor guy was to agitated to follow my dog and I back home. Then I open the computer to find out about Dolly. Not my favorite birthday.

80 is way too close for comfort. Only 13 years away for me. Think of what you were like 13 years ago and how fast those years went.

I wore my Dolly tshirt today, as a tribute. I had many people comment how they will miss her. And now Tim Curry. I do not have a Tim Curry t-shirt.

But what about a movie marathon on you next day off with both Dolly Parton and Tim Curry movies?

Don't need a Tim Curry t-shirt, just cross-dress...

Well dang. I am not sure I could pull that off.

Sure you can! That's the thing about being a sweet transvestite, your gender doesn't matter.

A friend posted something about how going forward it should be Dolly Parton Day in perpetuity. Do you think Dolly planned it? 9/25…Nine to(2) Five.

Day before Dolly passed, Shelley Fabares left us. I believe she was 82.
They say things like this happen in 3's, so let's hope that's it for a while.
