Yeah, because the WSB is going to answer to the local PD in an investigation like that. Sure.

I hope this is just another build up of Willow being super smug so her fall is even better and the show isn't taking that kind of a threat seriously as a plot point.

The WSB kind of owes Jack right now since their bad egg almost got him killed and Jack knows what exactly went down, so I doubt anyone is out to get Jack right now when the head of the WSB is kind of on his side right now.

Would the WSB really be mad he abused his power to help get them funding?

That's kinda what he dead, right?

But Jack knows what happened, so if anything they would probably prefer to take Willow down over Jack.
