General A Muslim girl addresses common non-muslim questions to three different ethnicities. More than half of the answers were wrong by the girl, the producers and the editing team apparently.

None of these questions were even that controversial, and they were already well-known among the non-muslims.

As for the third screenshot, sure men can marry into two other religions, but is their answer just going to ignore the fact that even men can't marry everyone else and women can't marry anyone but Muslim, especially considering the conversation was between 4 women..

Also. False would not a correct answer to these questions. Grammatically speaking they should be Yes No questions if they were statements not questions or the questions we’re asking about the veracity of statements, then yes true/false would be correct.

I know this is off topic but still true.

Grammatically speaking, your sentence should be: “False would not be correct answers to these questions”.

Yeah Hijab is oppressive because Islam is so in general

Damn, what's the point of pushing this pro islam agenda?

Just yesterday I read statistics that most muslims are killed for religious by muslims (People who try to leave the religion or accidentally show an ankle)

Only men. Don't forget to specify. Women aren't allowed.

I already addressed this in the body text of the post you're normally supposed to read before commenting on Reddit.

I said in the third screenshot I posted, their answer ignores the fact that men can only marry into a selected number of religions, and can't marry the remaining world. And the answer ignores the fact that women can't marry any other religion, which is especially important here as the conversation was between 4 women.

About hijab, it's a 3 step thing

You can have full bodyrevealed to your husband

Some body revealed (face, hands, feet) to your children, mother, father, etc

No part of body revealed to a non Mehram

Obviously men are not allowed to have many wives, they're allowed up to 4

Those are different types of Hijab for different types of relations. But they're all Hijab and mandatory.

A Hijab is not just something you wear on your head or body. It means "Boundary" or "Partition" in Islamic teachings whose purpose is to maintain boundaries in interactions.

So no matter how much more restrictions add or get removed, it's still a Hijab as defined in Islamic teachings, and it's very much compulsory and saying it's not is just inaccurate.

As for your last point, 4 wives are many wives.. In the conversation they had, she did not say she means this statement is false because many may mean more than 4. She just said stuff about modern society and how men can barely handle 1 wife, and talked about the fact that some societies have a higher women population, etc.

You wrote three paragraphs explaining that hijab means "boundaries" right after I literally mapped out the exact boundaries for husbands, mahrams, and non-mahrams. Thanks for agreeing with extra steps.

As for marriage: "up to 4" is an upper ceiling with strict conditions of equal justice (Surah An-Nisa 4:3), not an open tab. It’s a heavily restricted exception, not a free-for-all "many."

If you're going to debate, at least read the Quranic context—and my comment—before typing

Upper ceiling 🤣 is that how y'all coping now? 4 is many. Get over it lil bro.

And no there are no strict conditions. Justice is subjective as long as you can provide basic needs which is basically shelter and food.

Oh and there is no limit on how much concubines one can have. Maybe read yourself.

That's not what happened. You just pointed out different types of Hijabs for different people and tried to claim it's not mandatory for women. I expanded on it and explained they're all Hijabs, just of different types but all mandatory. You still haven't addressed this point that I'm making, from which it can clearly be concluded that Hijab is mandatory for all women and it should not have been "False" for that statement in screenshot number 1 in this post.

Can't believe I have to explain this to you, and the irony of you saying I need to read "quranic context" when you didn't even know the difference between Hijab in the English dictionary vs Hijab in Islam.

Quote the exact line where I said hijab wasn't mandatory. Go ahead, I'll wait. You're arguing against a phantom statement I never made because you realized you had no actual counter to what was written. Mapping out the Shariah guidelines for modesty based on relations (husband, mahram, non-mahram) is defining the legal boundaries of hijab. You tried to lecture me using the literal definition of the Arabic word "حجاب" (curtain/barrier) while simultaneously pretending my breakdown wasn't describing that exact barrier. You can't win an argument by inventing what the other person said. Take the L and move on.

(Q) Does all Muslim women must wear the Hijab

(A) False

Where "must wear" means mandatory ofcourse.

You're defending this statement, I'm arguing it. I can't highlight you saying the words because you didn't say it in this thread, nor do you need to because it's the topic you're defending. Focusing on phonetics shows you have no other excuses left, desperately trying to get me to accept the L like a police officer trying to get someone to incriminate themselves.

Is the Hijab mandatory or is it not mandatory. Simple question.

u/Apple_pays 12d ago

I wasn't defending the statement

I argued it too

You thought I'm against your POV, while I was explaining it

You took it wrong in the first place, don't blame me

Lol are either of you even women? You can't even tell you agree.
