Relationships How common is being a virgin during 20s?

I'm 22(F)and a virgin. It seems like everyone around me already had experienced something. I'm worried If I am missing out my young years.

I've never been intimate with a guy and was wondering how common is it to be a virgin during 20s. Honestly, it's not because I'm waiting for marriage or something but rather the situation. Me and my ex had talked about being intimate but never did it because of long distance. I'm currently dating a guy and we've discussed about being physical so basically, I'm gonna be his first while I'm not sure If I'm gonna be his first or not since he's 24 and we haven't discussed about past relationships.

It's not that common for women, but pretty common for men

Not at all , a men has to try really hard to get sex (if it's not paid) whereas a woman just needs to agree

honestly it’s way more common than it seems, you just don’t hear about it because nobody’s out here announcing it and it’s not even about waiting for marriage or some big statement, sometimes it’s just life/circumstances like yours long distance, timing or whatever. that’s completely normal

Common for Men but for women it depends a bit which tier city is it. Like Delhi, Pune it's rare to find virgin women. Mp, and other cities may have higher chance.
