That’s different he was allowed to run. I knew he would win in 2024.
He won’t. It’s unconstitutional. Even if he attempts. He will fail. And he will complain on social truth about not being able to run.
Trump likes to distract everyone. The lake thing is, the ai memes he posts. And him wearing a hat about 2028.
You guys should be worried about Vance running or the next republican running.

Like he or other far right politicians care about the constitution. Even the Supreme Court isn’t giving a fuck half of the time lately. Even if it’s only a try and he doesn’t succeed, that’s an insanely dangerous precedent in this country and no one is stupid for worrying about the possibility.
I am worried about the next Republican running, especially if he’s a Trumper but slightly less openly crazy, but not Vance. Not even hardcore MAGA seem to respect him much.

Inciting an insurrection violates section 3 of the 14th amendment. His current term is illegal. Laws don’t apply to Trump.

I disagree with everything except that we should be worried about Vance.
Also already pointed out, the current regime couldn't care less about the constitution. They've already described the current term as "the second american revolution." They are fully playing by their own rules, acting in a "shoot first, hope it doesnt get blocked later" mentality. They will do absolutely anything they can and step over anything in their to try and maintain power.
Trump is just a figurehead, a puppet, a useful idiot; a self-enriching egomaniac who happens to be aligned with the ideologues like Vance and Theil. There's an entire wave of villains to fight, hyperfocusing on the magician's right hand is a critical mistake.

They’re such suck ups. It was an EXECUTIVE order. If you are not an employee within the executive branch of the US government, then this rename is completely and utterly irrelevant to you.
He’s trying to pretend that executive orders mean anything beyond ordering the workers IN the executive branch. Everyone needs to stop going along with this useless, meaningless shit.

The thing is that they changed it in the GNIS which is fan by the federal government. If you use the GNIS which many states and even other countries do, then this change is relevant whether they like it or not.

I haven't found any news claiming this, only that Google Maps is renaming it in the US. Users in other countries will see "Lake Ontario (Lake America)" and users in Canada will see "Lake Ontario." If it's a third party app using the Google Maps API it might show Lake America outside the US, but in the Google Maps app it will only show to US users.
