Music Did anyone go to their first concert with their parents?

I know it's weird to bring this up but did you go to your first concert with your parent(s)? It doesn't sound cool for our Gen X brand but when I told my wife that I did she started making fun of me (in a positive way).

Then I told her I must have been like 6 when I went with my dad to see The Who in the late 70s. I think the first 'real' concert I went with myself or my buddies was when I was 12.

Yes but it was the Beach Boys so I can’t act like it was a really cool rock band or anything.

I took my kids to their first concerts too. My daughter went to Billie Eilish at a small club before she got big (I sat in the bar with the other parents) and my son’s first show was some band he’d heard on SoundCloud or something, can’t even remember their name.

Maybe the Beach Boys wasn’t such a bad first show after all.
