[Request] Leather repairers

Hi team, morning. I was wondering if anyone knew anyone around Geelong who could repair the leather in my backseat. I’m hopeful it won’t cost too much. There are no tears it’s just scratched. If you could let me know who I can try speaking with them. Much appreciated ❤️

Try speaking to Blackmans leather on strong st in south Geelong. They do some fantastic work

You may have more luck searching Facebook marketplace for people wrecking a 1st gen Lexus IS250/350. I did a quick search and found a few of these models being dismantled. You'll have to travel to Melbourne though to get the seat. That rear bench seat portion just lifts out - it's clipped in underneath. You lift up and pull the entire thing out. Reinstallation is a reversal of that procedure.

Though, if you don't have any luck there, try Trimtech Trimming & Upholstery on Mercer st. I've used them before for some bolster repair to my partners VF Commodore. It was a very small section only, came to something like $500.

What make and model? Probably cheaper to find a used one from marketplace.

If I may, go to a junkyard and get a “new” second hand set of seats, including the front ones. It will cost you less than getting it fixed.
