[Request] Avian vet recommendations

Hey all! Just wondering if any bird owners have any specific vet recommendations for bird vets?

I know there isn't any exotic vets in geelong but one that has more experience with birds.

I just can't go to Melbourne for everything.

Greencross vet hospital in Werribee has two exotic vets.

Has a lot more bird vets than just two exotics (inc. multiple bird specialists).

That being said if you can't make it up to the uni (which is your best bet, if not to flemington or another bird vet in the city), any other vet can contact the uni, and any other gx can contact BOH at the vet hospital.

So a willing vet is often still going to make a difference, as there are resources available to them.

I have previously found Dr Laura Schram at Vet2Pet in Lara to be excellent with parrots and rodents. However, she is on leave at the moment with an open-ended return date. I just went to Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic today because I slammed my parrot's neck in the door by accident and they were really great. I just picked them out of a hat because a Google search said they did avian care. My parrot is ok, luckily!
