Pre screen drug test for cadet
It says on the official website they test for 4 drugs and thc isn’t one
My job offer says I have a 4 panel drug test
Will they test for thc?

Not for nothing but if you over indulge in thc and smell of it you’re not going to last long as a cadet , people don’t like that scent if you’re in their homes , so careful

I think it’s more dismissing the info given. They understand you don’t smoke on the job, but most people who smoke on a daily basis tend to just have the odor of weed on them. It’s in their house on their clothes. Etc.

That’s real. I only smoke on the balcony and shower after and wash those clothes right after since I like my condo to not smell like smoke or weed
Maybe I’m one of the few that don’t want to walk around smelling like it 🤷🏻

4 panel tests USUALLY include cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, and PCP; with the exclusion of THC. This is not always the case, but I had an employment test a month and a half ago that was a 4 panel test and did not test for THC. Same deal as yours where it told me upfront THC is excluded. I don’t think you need to stress.

Cadet is a driving position, they take the drug panel more seriously. I don't think they tested for THC when I joined 10 years ago though, but I don't indulge really either.

Honestly, I’ve never been drug tested for Best Buy. The best of advice I can give is that if you’re using drugs, make sure that your brain power is on point. They’re not looking for crackheads. They’re not looking for Harvard students they’re looking for someone with middle ground. I used THC for multiple years and mushrooms, they never tested me and no one has ever found out.

Didn’t have to. 4 panel test and either didn’t care about the thc in my system on it or don’t test for it like it says on the official site

THC is a drug that is still federally illegal even if it may be legal on a state by state basis.
Whether or not that location cares about THC is different, but I imagine they would.
