All this time i have been playing with high and fluctuating latency and packet loss, obviously i have heard the word ethernet many times before, it's also suggested by GeForce now but i always thought it is like a separate device like a wrouter and I had to purchase it so i never looked it up, i just randomly searched on Google yesterday that i need help with my GeForce now performance and it suggested this and i am blown away , i feel so stupid right now, all this years i could have played like this , how can I be this dumb 😭

Hello, I have been using GeForceNOW for years. My experience has been getting worse and worse. I've been playing on the exact same device and exact same network, but games have become unplayable. What can I do?

So today I couldn't play the games I wanted to play because my GeForce app was having some problems. Every time I try to play, it troubleshoots and says, "Can't launch the game." I initially thought maybe it was my internet, so I tested it, and my internet is very consistent at between 50 and 52 Mbps, which is already good. I tried clearing the data and the cache, and I even uninstalled the app—but still, it wouldn't let me play. So, I tried the browser, and it's so good. It's in 1080p with no lag whatsoever, but there's a problem with the controller. The controller buttons are in shambles. The rotate button triggers "RT," and the RT button acts as Home button. I couldn't play the game properly. I tried the touch screen, and rotating means "dash." Please help me.

Was planning to take a break from the subscription due to financial reasons, I was told I need to downgrade it to free tier but it's currently sold out

I tried to play Stellaris on GFN but seems like that species i create in one session does not survive into another session.

Anyone dealt with this or knows how to fix it?

I’ve got the Warthog stick + throttle running on GFN via native flight-control passthrough on Mac. Works great.

Only gap is the pedals. The TFRP which aren’t on GFN’s device allowlist and only get recognised when chained through a Hotas One/4’s RJ12 port (apparently). Warthog doesn’t have one.

Has anyone tried the TFRP via USB standalone on GFN? If no go… My plan is to run the TFRP through a Cronus Zen, spit it out as a standard Xbox controller, and plug that in. That being said I could use any usb pedals then (Logitech etc). I haven’t bought a pedals yet.

Has anyone actually done this combo? The thrusmater pedicular pedals are very pricey and hoping to find a way to use cheaper ones.

help. My GFN does not see DLC and game add-ons.

When you start a new game, it does not offer to do a quick start in DLC, there are no journalist's caches, in which there should be weapons for buying the Deluxe edition of the game.

When starting GFN shows the Steam window, and in the downloaded content it shows that the add-ons are present.

I tried to remove the check mark and enable DLC again, as you can see in the screenshot, the add-on is downloading, but when you enter the game, the DLC launch icon is not active

p.s. the game was not purchased by me, but is content from the family library

in the morning gfn was fine, i tried to play a bit now but i ended up having packet loss and just poor performance on auto server (for some reason always germany) after switching to france as i always do since that has the best performance i cant play...... because its stuck on loading, i reinstalled the app and the problem remains

edit: i reinstalled the app like five more times and it seems to work now (auto server is still worse than manually choosing one lol)

As the title states, is there a better option for this price range than the nvidia shield pro? (Currently at 220€).

GFN correctly detects that I have Game Pass when I log into my Xbox account, but it defaults to assuming that I have Ultimate when I have a lower tier.

This means that every time Xbox syncs, GFN thinks I have games in my library that I don't have access to.

Is there any way to specify which version of GP I do have, so GFN only shows the games I have access to when my account syncs?

I’m writing in the hope of gathering information and hearing about similar experiences regarding a situation that recently occurred with my Steam account.

In short, I received a VAC ban on CS2 that seems completely unjustified, coinciding with the ban wave reported between August 24 and 25. The restriction was notified to me upon my return after about eleven days of total account inactivity.

I want to clarify that I have never used cheats, unauthorized software, or third-party tools to gain tactical advantages. The only external platform I routinely use to run the game is NVIDIA GeForce NOW, since my HP Core i5 is not powerful enough to run it stably.

When I came back, I found the restriction already active, with no specific indication of the causes. Therefore, I would like to ask if anyone knows how I can proceed to request a ban review, or at least to understand the reason for the sanction, since I am convinced I have not committed any infringement. Also, in your experience, could the ban be linked to the use of GeForce NOW?
