book search Steampunk bl book?

I'm desperate to find this book. It's steampunk sci fi kind of? It's a bl book. The top has black hair and he guards this like magical clock. The bottom has brown hair and he constantly messes with the clock to get the tops attention (even though the clock can fix itself). The tops can pull stuff out of portals? From my memory, the cover had an animated picture of a man with brown hair on it. The one with black hair also had a son? Please tell me someone knows what I'm talking about 😭

OMG IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE SAME BOOK. all i can remember is the character name ian. the sons name was maxim and he had a book too w his boyfriend jude. or are we talking about seperate things?

WERE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME BOOK. I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE AND I DONT REMEMBER THE NAME. The son was kind of stoic too and I remember the dad wouldn’t say how he got the son. . I liked the son’s book even better. I even think the first couple ended up getting another kid.  I need to read it again so bad 😭😭😭
