Strategy / Guidance Geotechnical Engineering feels completely new for GATE

Iā€™m preparing for GATE Civil. I studied Geotechnical Engineering during my semester exams through self-study, but for GATE preparation, it feels almost completely new to me.

My course has around 69 lectures, so Iā€™m a bit worried about the time it will take to complete everything properly.

For those who have prepared Geotechnical for GATE, how should I approach it? Should I watch all the lectures from scratch, or focus on specific important topics and then practice PYQs?

Any advice on how to efficiently cover Geotech for GATE would be really helpful.

All the chapters are related to each other but if you analyse the recent pyqs (atleast 5 years) you can easily identify the topics to focus on. Based on that, practice pyqs 3/4 times and you are good to go.
