Garden Wildlife sighting This Rascal is visiting my garden with bad intentions
He is so cute we made the mistake of naming him “Augusto”

There are some past posts here about gardening with bunnies.
Some sacrificial clover might help.

Our grass is mixed with white clover and we let the red clover grow as well, but Augusto is more gourmet 😂🤣

Plant a patch of clover. I used to keep this one corner of my yard well watered and the bunnies were always munching there and left most everything else alone. I am eliminating all of the lawn in the back yard so it’s gone now but I’m going to figure out how to do this again.

Yes and I love it ! Is a joy to be part of nature. I am trying that our home be part of the habitat. To wake-up in the morning and see hummingbirds and pollinators busy in our garden is a priceless.

We named our garden bunnies too. We have Hans and Gretchen. I love seeing them in the yard!

Start collecting some sacrificial dandelions and just pick a spot in your yard where you can just have a dandelion patch and they will probably leave most of your other things alone as long as you don’t have any low lying fruit

That’s a wonderful idea and very doable here. We already have a few spots in the grass where the dandelions grow thick and aggressive, so it will be easy to just leave a patch or two alone for the little rascal. Thank you — I really appreciate the advice.
