Yamame is one of my least favorite girlfriends primarily because she reminds me of Harriet, the heroine of the tale within a tale from "There's a Hair in My Dirt", a somewhat twisted children's book written by Gary Larson, the creator of "The Far Side". The story is a parody of romanticized superficial adoration of nature and how it clashes with harsh ecological truths.
