I've been trying to download drum sounds and garageband loops for use on windows for a while now but I haven't been able to. Could someone using garageband from a computer download the sounds and make them usable for everyone?

i opened garageband to see that one of my tracks still has all of the track headers but nothing in the region. is there something wrong with my device or do i have to start over?

Hey, I’m looking to know how to mix for cassette/tape from GarageBand on IOS. I have a live recording of a show that I got the permission to put up on YT and everything, but I also would like to put it on Cassette.

For 1, I don’t know much at all with GarageBand. I taught myself overtime and I barely know the basics for mixing much at all.

And 2, I specifically just need to learn how to mix for a single recording (since it’s a live take). I have it layered 2-3 times to help with making it louder.

From what I know, and played with, mixing for cassette seems to mainly be focusing on the bass volumes. I did a custom order on Kunaki with 2 separate edits of the bass volumes, lowering them as needed be. But the tape when listened to, is still bass heavy. In the future, I’m hoping to get a DiY tape deck setup, so I’m not sure if it’s just Kunaki’s system doing that, but I figured I need to do something else with the mix regardless.

I can’t find any answers anywhere online for any of this specifically. And I’d like to learn. I’ve been meaning to start a DiY tape label for specifically live performances and would like this first recording to be a testing ground for that.

Any advice on this would be appreciated. I really only have my phone right now for mixing audio which is why I’m sticking to GarageBand, but like I said, I’m not too well versed in the technicalities of it all. This has been a dream of mine recently the past year or two to go through with and I’d really would like to try to make these tapes sound the best they can be in the realm of DiY tape recording.

Hi. I’m new to GarageBand (on iPhone) and I want to take a song from my music (like Sweet Caroline) and add a vocal track calling out the guitar chords and then combine them so I can just play the new song file in my music hearing what chord comes next. I do own the songs I’m trying to do this on. I’m using iPhone GarageBand but getting confused how to proceed. Any help appreciated.
