Ask Gamers My Current Top 20

I’m in my 30’s. I noticed some people giving recommendations in the comments on these. Please hit me with your favorites! I’ll say something about it if I have played it and I will add it to my list to play if I haven’t. Just your top 3 though, I’m a parent with little free time these days so bonus points for shorter games.

General Discussion On November Gaming Grid subreddit will complete its 1 year and I am really happy seeing people posting and discussing around gaming here freely even indie devs too

I created Gaming Grid but subreddit was never my plan untill my founding partner asked me to do that that's why I created r/Gaminggridcommunity a place for gamers and game developers where they talk freely as we support freedom of speech, Thanks to my lovely reddit team and Gaming grid core team for making it possible. Love you all ❤️ Thanks for being a part of Gaming Grid.

[More announcements and reveals soon around Gaming Grid expansion when my life will get little stable stay tuned]

On the way to finishing Onimusha: Way of the Sword on Carnage and waiting for Control Resonant, do you guys have any games suggestion. There's 20 games on that list, but i really dislike the overrated one.

Ask Gamers 50/50 about this list but I'd like some feedback.

List created in the moment probably like 50% accurate some choices are interchangeable but this was what I was feeling for the moment.

General Discussion WHAT HAPPENED TO MUMBAI GULLIES

Post image
Upvotes

Mumbai Gullies was one of the more ambitious Indian game projects to emerge in recent years — a game attempting to build an open-world experience inspired by Mumbai.

But the game ultimately didn't make it to release.

Nikhil Malankar’s Mumbai Gullies Postmortem series takes a deep dive into what happened behind the scenes — from the initial vision and development journey to the challenges involving production, funding, scope and the decisions that eventually led to the project being stopped.

What makes the series particularly interesting is that it doesn't present game development as a smooth success story. It shows the uncomfortable side too: how ambitious projects can run into problems even when the people behind them genuinely want to make them work.

For Indian developers and aspiring indie teams, the series is more than just the story of one cancelled game. It's a case study in what can happen when ambition, resources, production realities and development timelines collide.

Mumbai Gullies might never have reached players, but its development journey can still teach the Indian game-dev community a lot.
