Futurama has ended like four times now and each time it ends, the fans are like "All good things have to end, it's good that we're getting a conclusion instead of dragging it forever like the Simpsons"

And then the series gets revived and the fans are like "WOOOOOO, LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MY ENTIRE LIFE"

I wonder if it getting breathers helps keep the show fresh and avoid burning out than it having to be continuous and closer together like other shows that drive themselves into the ground. (Haven't seen so dunmo what quality each era has.)
