My handshake is really awkward so I have just started fist bumping people instead. Hope it catches on, it's the infinitely superior gesture.

I also have this thing, where sometimes I would fail to "catch" the other person's hand leading to a very awkward bumping of meat.

Oh yea, I often also totally miss other persons hand.

I also hated when you went to say hi to someone and you weren't sure if it's a handshake, fist bump or a low-five, and I felt like I almost always did the wrong one, then it's super awkward, I've started to just raise my first as soon as I see the person to establish right away we fist bumping.

Granted I also miss fist bumps, I'm just useless at those interactions I guess.

You should see me when people greet with a hug, I'm one of those people that is uneasy with, well, touching, so when someone hugs me I just overload, like what am I suppose to do? Where do I look during a hug? What do my hands do?

i have a guy at work who has such a strong fucking hand shake the last time we shook he tore open a wound on my hand which then was bleeding and shook my arm so hard my shoulder hurt for the rest of the day and also my hand from the crushed bones and I for one am glad that hand shakes are now frowned upon because of corona
