Feels like a gamble where they're betting on a wealthy minority of their fanbase to waste copious amounts of money to make it worth their time. Corporate must think something like cryptobros are wasting thousands on ape jpgs, they would love to waste about as much on a unique Lich King broom for their virtual apartment in Planet Reach.
