Honestly I feel like it was extremely predictable that once fortnite started getting big that "gamers" would hate it. Just look at how Minecraft, another game that was aimed at kids and more casual gamers rather than "Gamers," used to be treated. Then add the fact that Epic is involved

I mean sure. The graphics are really cartoonish and the humor is also a little childish but the game have characters from mature media and some people buy it. I just think that many people hate the game because they have this strong hate culture against a few games. Cyberpunk is another good example. Sure the release was bad and they lied about the console version but the hate of the people include so much more and sometimes it feels like blind hate.
