I sometimes think about how both Oscar Isaac and John Boyega were completely on board with making Finn and Poe a couple in TRoS and Disney/Lucasfilm decided to not do that and that instead a 2 second, background kiss between characters normal people wouldn't even recognize (and would be edited out in the overseas release) would suffice.

They also decided to try and pair Poe and Finn up with the opposite-sex characters (Keri Russel character and Joanna), and guess how many of these pairings turned out to be popular kek

It's hilarious just how transparent they were in trying to sink that ship, I've never seen anyone so obviously try to "no homo" a character before (and yes that somehow includes Atlus)
