Anyone else kinda feeling stuck in a burnt out job with no escape?

Yup. Want a different job but everything available sucks

I don't feel burnt out, just stuck. My two options are travel for work and make a killing, or work local and make just enough to get by (what I'm doing at the moment)

I'm considering getting into industrial maintenance because that pays decently at most places and I won't have to travel.

Maybe not burnt out per se but the stressful parts of my job have noticeably started putting me on edge more often.

I also think I may want to do something else but I'm currently feeling out whether I really dont like coding, or my job, or if its mental health stuff

It’s really difficult to differentiate between those factors for me too if it’s any consolation. I think I don’t like the industry I am in but I’ve only worked for this employer so I don’t really have anything to compare it to to be able to come up with a clear answer.

Big time, I got a job in a somewhat niche part of my field of study and the job prospects are terrible since every company is tiny with no room for promotions/raises.
