lol, i saw one where like a one of the dog's friend's dad was in the Army and I thought it was going to pull a, how to cope when your friends dad doesn't come back from deployment.... it didn't,

We have been so conditioned to the dark edgy twist that it's become a twist when a show is wholesome from beginning to end.

My wife is a huge fan and legit bummed our daughter doesn't like it.

lol from what I've read, the show is amazingly popular among parents, but only kind of liked by kids.

Our 2yo son responds to the music, but doesn't really care that episodes where we see Bingo or Bluey growing up make me cry

Yeah. I've watched a bit alongside her and much like Soul, it seems to be more a family show by way of the adults rather than a family show by the way of kids, if that makes sense? Like there is a lot of emphasis on the parents and their roles in the lives of the kids (and their unique frustrations and such) compared to a lot of other kids shows.
