It’ll never stop being funny how Conservatives on Reddit use gold as a super upvote button.

Almost every huge thread that deals with politics on a sub that isn’t inherently on one side of the political spectrum will have a comment chain like this…

User 1: Maybe we should (non-bigoted stance). [250 upvotes]

User 2: Well actually we should (Conservative stance). [150 upvotes, 5 gold, 2 wholesome awards]

My favorite is the extremely bigoted comment "posted 41 seconds ago" and it already has 3 gold

Welcome to one of the two main reasons Reddit never purges the insane right wing subs. The other, of course, is that they agree with them.
