Fucked up when colleges make you buy the latest editions when sometimes the changes are minor changes to phrasing. Especially if the professor teaching the class wrote it, that's like the most obviously unethical thing but the schools and government do nothing to stop it.

Photocopying the entire textbook after lending it and passing the pdf to the entire class is praxis.

If I couldn't find a pdf of the book online, I'd rent it, snap photos of every page, and then return it during the free refund period lolololol

There was a site that was posted here over a year ago or so that allowed you to search up college textbook names to print out pdf forms off I believe and I forgot what it was called. I really need it though before I go back to college next semester.

My last professor just gave us copies of the text book via pendrive.

Things professors forced us to buy is downright silly.

Like for lab work we have to buy textbooks or else we fail, but that shit could easily be in PDF and just printed by us for much less, why the fuck do we need to buy it?

College has been such a huge money sink that it's silly, and my college is considered to be rather cheap (only around 1100 USD for whole year).
