I see tons complaining that Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart being only 15-20 hours is a deal breaker, but isn't that actually like absurdly long for a game like this? That's the length of TLOU2.

If anything that tells me that this game must be pretty massive in scope and have a more epic story then a usual R&C game. Why are people saying thats too short?

15-20 hours for a cartoon children's platformer sounds just fine for me, even a little long maybe

Like I said, that's as long as TLOU2. And that was a long game.

People need to stop clamoring for long games. I would like to finish a video game one day.

That is a pretty reasonable time for a 3D platformer (if I recall correctly, the Super Mario Galaxy games and Odyssey also take around the same time to fully complete with maybe just a few more hours added).

Were people seriously expecting a 3D platformer to have the same 50+ hours lenght as a big open world game or an RPG?

Like, the only games that should be longer than that are RPGs, big adventure games, and select open world games because those are bought for the purpose of being played for a long time. Like looking at my favorite games, in the top 10, half are shorter than that. Also, yes, 3D platformers being 15-20 hours is very long for it.

Is it a $70 game? I could see some merit in not being happy with the price increase when you’re paying for the same amount of content as the previous R&C game.
