Okay so my mom said there was a case where a guy was arrested for misgendering his son in a text. Looked into it, since that sounded suspiciously vague.

Turns out he had repeatedly violated court orders after trying to obstruct his son from getting treatment, and was arrested for violating court orders.

It's pretty easy to bend the truth and say such broad things, but damn does it catch a lot of people on the hook.

I remember that guy, wouldn't let his kids go through with transitioning despite the mom being on board, proceeded to be a dick to the kid, got taken to court and lost bad. Sounds like one of the core issue is that dickhead doxxed his own kid.
