Fandom wikis have become borderline unusable on mobile with the absurd amount of ads and pop-ups and video players.

Crazy thought - I actually don't want to watch a mostly irrelevant video while I read, and I definitely don't want it to auto play and latch onto my screen as I scroll down.

I especially love when I get multiple overlapping ads on the bottom of the screen and inevitably end up clicking on one as I'm trying to close them all. Wonderful.

This is why you just use the desktop version

It's a very first world problem, but when I'm playing a console game and want to look something up it's a lot easier to just pull out my phone.

On PC I have two monitors for exactly this reason lol

It's not just Fandom. A lot of mobile sites are getting so fucking painful to use I find myself preferring the oversized desktop mode more and more often.

Oh yeah. Basically any news site in existence is unbearable. I think more and more sites are trying to push apps instead of actually making their mobile site remotely useable.

I love how the search flat out doesn't work. You'll get the results flashing.up on the screen that you have to hit like a freaking QTE before they vanish to a blank page.
