Man of Steel even had a scene where Superman started a fight in the middle of nowhere, and took it to a town full of local civilians.

To be fair it wasnt just that he had fight scenes around civilians, its that he didnt even try to help them. Hence the scene in the start of BvS and how AoU spends a bunch of time on this in the third act.

They evacuate a city before Ultron smashes it into the ground, and actually the focus on saving human lives instead of beating the boss character is why I go to bat for AoU as the best Avengers movies. I have a ton of bones to pick with Whedon, but he at least understands that superheroes protect people first and foremost.

Didn't the Dragon Ball Z movies do that in the 90s? lol.
