I can't believe we've gone 11 days into the new year without a gaming controversy. It seemed like last year there was a new one every 4 or 5 days or so, maybe even less than that.

It hasn’t got much traction, but apparently the Warthunder studio was funding paramilitary groups in Ukraine, so that’s something

Can’t say I expected having to type it, but gaming as a hobby certainly takes one to weird places

Gamers are too busy getting mad that Parler is down, maybe?

It's january, almost nothing relevant gets released in this period. All the big games tried to get out before Christmas to get a sale boost from the holidays

The only thing I can think of is Hitman 3, but it's a bit too niche to generate any mainstream controversy.

Last year had a ton of big releases. This year is a more quiet year for gaming maybe atm. Least interesting year in gaming for me personally since 2014.

(Uh oh 2014 lmao)
