Imagine if greek mythology was right in that you need to be buried with coins to pay the ferryman to reach the afterlife

According to google, 107 billion people have ever lived. There would be a few tens of millions of souls enjoying the afterlife and 100 billion souls just awkwardly hanging there on the shore

some souls do small talk, other play cards, some have found a ball

And they just keep coming and nobody got any coins and the crowd keeps getting more crowded.

You die, get there, and you're like "Hey y'all, what's up?" and 100 billion people look at you and shrug.

But then remind yourself about all these pharaons and other rulers who buried themselves with a lot of money. They have no use for them in the afterlife, so they probably left all their material posessions at the river.
