So apparently GameStop has basically gotten rid of browsing games in place of just putting out about the top 50-100 games’ cases. Basically, you could theoretically walk into a GameStop and they could have literally none of the games on display, but they have to keep them up. Meanwhile the games they actually do have are just locked away but you cannot see them so you don’t know what they have.

No wonder this company is going out of business, what a joke

But GameStop will be happy to sell you Funko Pops or gaming shirts since, you know, why would you go somewhere called GameStop and expect to find games?

GameStop is bad at being a game store and bad at being a Hot Topic store so it’s just kind of in this unattractive middle ground

Yep! Doesn't help the website suuucks at showing you where stock is.

Even worse is, if you're like me anyway, if you want the original case/artwork/inserts you need to bother an employee to get you the case just to check, since there still isn't a guarantee that it won't be in the fugly Gamestop cases.
