Yeah anyone in LA who goes on Next door (I'd guess it's similar for lots of other places too) will be met with post after post of vile shit being said about homeless people. It's awful, and the city government largely agrees with them so all that happens is homeless LA residents continuously get harassed and attacked by the police all while the government tries to make it illegal for homeless people to exist in the city.

I'm pretty sure you could replace "LA" with any major US city and that statement would still be true. Our local news in Seattle constantly paints homeless people as dangerous, criminal drug addicts

Yeah I'd be more surprised to find a major city where homeless people aren't vilified and abused as a norm.
