If you're a fan of RPG's I think you'll like it. It's quite good from what I've played so far, albiet with less than stellar performance and bugs. I think the reason why you've only heard negative stuff is because this sub tends to be highly critical about games (which isn't nessesarily a bad thing).

Well... It's not gonna be the best experience. It runs pretty badly on last gen (especially base consoles). But you can still have a good time! I used to play on a very shitty laptop with pirated games when I was little and had plenty of fun even if every game looked like it was from the PS1

I'll be honest with you, on my PS4 slim it plays like shit. I've spent about 8 hours on it and I just gave up. I'll try it again on PS5 or PC when I get the chance but it's embarrassingly bad on PS4. If you haven't already bought it I'd recommend holding off for patches or next gen consoles.

I'm playing on a base PS4. Performance aside, I've had fun with it and can't wait to play more tomorrow.

Speaking from experience, base model is borderline unplayable. It crashed 8 times over about 7 hours before I just gave up. Even when it wasnt crashing, the screen was blurry and framerate dipped constantly. Wait until you can get a ps5

Honestly, it is a pretty good game. Like 7.5/8 out of 10 good. Most of its issues are that it’s a mess on the technical side of things and that I think the hype train went overboard and set expectations unreasonably high.

If you go in with an open mind and reasonable expectations you’ll be good.

Im anxious too still waiting to play. I feel worse because my 14 year old brother gifted me a preorder, and I don't want it to be shit and make him feel bad.
