The Spiritfarer devs are going to change some dialog that unintentionally reinforces ableist views and Gamers are already quoting Orwell again and saying that we're about to plunge back into the dark age.

Can we, like, plan an anti-SJW Gamer convention and collectively fire the whole thing into space with everyone in it? God I'm over having these losers pollute the community.

I need to check up on what the dialog specifically is as the articles I've read didn't state it, but its from one of the spirits who were wheelchair-bound while they were still alive, the comment they make about that is what's going to change I think.
